This is a commissioned painting for my sister. She and her husband have recently moved into a comfy gem of a place in Santa Cruz six blocks from the beach. My inspiration for the piece came from the street name on which they now live, seabright.

BACKGROUND

Schuyler Robertson is a custom fabricator living in San Francisco, CA. He works out of a 40,000 sq. ft shared work space on Treasure Island building custom cabinetry and furniture for a variety of clients. Before going into business for himself he worked in the bay area for a number of fabrication shops including Gizmo Art Production, Figure Plant, and The Exploratorium. Schuyler Robertson seeks to create unique and interesting works, develop his craft, and continue to collaborate with local builders and designers.
