Queen Bed from Transbay Terminal pylons.

I built a queen bed out of old douglas fir milled from the old Transbay Termal pylons. The grey color comes from the pylons sitting in the earth from 1939-2011.

The Jefferson Airplane House

I had the privilege of joining Clarion Custom Builders with finishing out a beautiful oak built in at the Jefferson Airplane House, a unique and beautiful home once the crash-pad and rehearsal space of 60's psych rock n roll legends, Jefferson Airplane. I worked on the mill work, finish, and installation of drawers and doors. Turned out great.

BACKGROUND

Schuyler Robertson is a custom fabricator living in San Francisco, CA. He works out of a 40,000 sq. ft shared work space on Treasure Island building custom cabinetry and furniture for a variety of clients. Before going into business for himself he worked in the bay area for a number of fabrication shops including Gizmo Art Production, Figure Plant, and The Exploratorium. Schuyler Robertson seeks to create unique and interesting works, develop his craft, and continue to collaborate with local builders and designers.
